12/30/2016 - Here is an update on some of the upcoming things in the game.
We are going to start scaling in restrictions on the number of breedings allowed per quarter for each stable. In the first quarter the limit will be 300 (the count will not start until this is implemented in Jan sometime). In the 2nd quarter the limit will go to 250, in the 3rd quarter to 200, and 4th quarter and beyond to 150. The total number of unretired/active horses owned will not be restricted but will start having an added monthly stable fee for anything above certain limits. The limit will start in the 2nd quarter (Apr stable fee) and will be 2500 horses. Any unretired/active horses owned above this limit will be 0.10 per horse. If the fee is not paid horses will be retired automatically (oldest first) to bring the count down to the restriction. This will apply to standard level free stables as well. The limit will go to 2000 in the 3rd quarter (Jul) and to 1500 in the 4th quarter and beyond.
The platinum stable fee will remain at $4.95 per month with the reduced ads over the standard level free stables (currently just the trailer at the bottom). For those that are dead set against the ads we are going to offer a $9.95 a month ad free after login option. We are also going to be changing the race fees refund. We will be refunding for anything over 110% of purse instead of 100%.
We are going to be adding a factor on how a horse develops so that the track level a horse races at will impact its development and future performance. A horse running at a track below its abilities will essentially start learning to run below its abilities. We will make another announcement in advance before this is released.
