2/05/2016 - The following changes are effective for races starting in March.
Graded Stakes - min 4 nominations, All other scheduled races - min 5 nominations, Requested races - min 7 nominations
If a scheduled race with a min of 5 nominations closes with less than 5 nominations there will be an option to run an alternate race with an extended nomination deadline of 24 hours with the same race date for 4 nominations with a reduced cash prize of 1 nomination fee. If a requested race with a min of 7 nominations closes with less than 7 nominations there will be an option to run an alternate race with an extended nomination deadline of 24 hours with the same race date for 4-6 nominations with a reduced cash prize.
Payouts: 1st - 60%, 2nd - 20%, 3rd - 16%, 4th - 4%
Nom Fees (Max $50) - All excess nom fees refunded evenly to runners.
Graded Stakes - Cash Prize / 7.25, Ungraded Stakes - Cash Prize / 7, High Level - Cash Prize / 7, Mid Level - Cash Prize / 6.75, Low Level - Cash Prize / 6.5, Bottom Level - Cash Prize / 6.25, Fair Level - Cash Prize / 6, Statebred Restricted Non-Stakes - Cash Prize / 7
For overnight races other than 2yo maidens, the 3rd criteria of pref date system for selecting entries will be replaced with nomination time so that the earliest nominations will draw in first.
Meet Prizes are being adjusted (meets already started will keep their current prizes):
High - 200 - 100 - 75 - 50 - 25, Mid - 100 - 75 - 50 - 25 - 10, Low - 75 - 50 - 25 - 10 - 5, Bottom - 50 - 25 - 10 - 5 - 2.5, Fair - 25 - 10 - 5 - 2.5 - 1
Effective sometime on Feb 16th: Breeding fee is being increased from $8 to $10 and auto-gen price is being increased to $12 from $10
The race request system is going to be tightened down some in the coming week or so to stop too many races from being requested. |
