1/24/2012 - HRP Charity Event We will be running a charity event again this year. It will take place on March 2nd at MNR which is the first day of racing there. All proceeds will be split evenly between the 3 designated charities. The charities are the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation, the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund and the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation. There will be 6 races this year. The races will be: 1 filly and 1 open 6f dirt 3yo msw 1 filly and 1 open 6f dirt 3+ nw3 1 filly and 1 open 1m dirt 3+ open allowance All races (including splits) will offer 6 vouchers for 1st, 4 vouchers for 2nd, 3 vouchers for 3rd, 2 vouchers for 4th, and 1 voucher for 5th. The cost to nominate a horse to one of these races will be $10 and it will not cause a free stable to be converted to pay. Races will be allowed to split as many times as needed to allow all nominated horses to run. The races will be placed on the schedule with the release of the March races. Please consider supporting these races. We will also accept any direct donations for these charities if anyone wishes to donate directly.

There is absolutely no cost to do so and you can continue to do so for as long as you like to learn the ins and outs of the game before taking on the challenges of the pay circuit.
